2016-2017 ECS Collaborative Day Schema
The Collaborative Day Schema is a learning design that spans four collaborative days at the end of each nine weeks. The learning design is a continuous plan of learning centered around standards based instruction. It incorporates all the professional learning the district is involved in for the year and maps the learning in a coherent, systematic layout.

2014-2017 District Instruction Rounds Design
At the onset of instructional rounds in 2014, it was a foreign concept to everyone in our district. As we began to question the process and listen to our teachers, we started making adjustments to the process. Through a 3 year process, we became even more strategic and intentional in making instructional rounds autonomous to each school in our district and allowing a focus that would align with the district’s focus, the school’s professional learning needs, ACIP goals, and Educate AL plans. Together we developed a plan to hold 3 instructional rounds with an instructional round team where the principal was the lead learner and facilitator of the rounds.
